Join us for the second annual Running for Ronald 5K Run/Walk & Family Fun Day

Presented by the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte Teen Volunteer Board

Registration Opens: 7:30 am

Timed/Competitive Runners Start: 8:30 am

Walkers Start: 8:45 am

Family Fun Day: 9 am – 12 pm

Kids Fun Run: 10 am

We will continue to accept registrations at the Packet Pick-Up on Friday April 29th at Omega Sports, and you may register on the morning of the event!!

Pre-race Packet Pick Up: April 29^th, 4 pm - 8 pm

 Omega Sports Park Road Shopping Center

4271 Park Road in Charlotte (near intersection of Park Road and Woodlawn) 

We will run or walk our way through beautiful McAlpine Creek Park, to enable the Ronald McDonald House to thrive in Charlotte. Following the run, you will have the opportunity to enjoy fabulous games, music, food, various vendors, and fun for everyone! Included in your registration fee is a 2011 participant t-shirt and access to all the Family Fun Day has to offer.

Spectators are welcome to enjoy the Family Fun activities - but a donation of $5.00 would be greatly appreciated!

 All proceeds from Running for Ronald will support the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte’s operating budget which allows the house to provide housing, food, shelter, and support to families of seriously ill or injured children at little or no cost to the families. No family is ever denied service due to inability to pay, and those families who choose to contribute are asked only for a small donation to help offset the cost of their stay.

In consideration of being accepted as a participant in the Running For Ronald (Event), I hereby affirm and agree to the following:  1.  That I assume all responsibility for any kind and all damages to, or theft of, my personal property or any bodily injury (including death) that may occur to me, and further, I assume responsibility for property damage and bodily injury (including death) that I may cause to others, in each case arising or resulting from; incidental to, or as a consequence of my participation in the Event; 2.  That I, for myself, my heirs, my executors, and administrators, release and hold harmless from and waive all claims, damages, and right of action, present and future, whether the same be known or unknown, anticipated, or unanticipated, foreseen or unforeseen, arising or resulting from, incident to, or as a consequence of my participation in the Event, which I may now or hereafter have against Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte, along with the route and any and all sponsors and volunteers for said event, and the respective directors, officers, members, employees, agents, and volunteers of the foregoing; 3.  That I grant the permission for use of my name and/or     picture in any broadcast, photograph, video, website, or other account of the Event; and 4.  That I am aware of the physical demands and hazards of participating in the Event.
